Yes, to list the most important we:
- got rid of fan-content like buyable Capships and Space Communists
- made some overall GUI improvements (Privateer like Look & Feel)
- added new models, textures and sprite graphics
- overhauled the game balance and interaction on bases
- added the malfunction of ship systems when damaged
- provides a polished game manual

What can i expect from each version in the future? |
Privateer Remake's mission is to rebuild Privateer with fan content that might corrupt the Wing Commander Universe but could be fun as well. While development stopped in 2005 fans are starting to alter the remaining code and content base for their own little projects.
Privateer Gemini Gold will continue to provide new features along with artwork and gameplay improvements. The goal is to provide a quality release of an OS independent High Resolution Privateer within the unique Wing Commander Universe.
